About Us

Kafe Ayiti was created to fund the work of Simone Paulche Ministries, Inc. in La Gonave, Haiti.  Thirty-five years after immigrating to the United States, Simone Paulche returned to Haiti.  While visiting, she was heart-broken after witnessing the poor state of the living conditions of some of the children in her home region.

 

Simone felt compelled to help those poor children.  So, she began sending food, clothes and traveling to Haiti to minister to the people of Anse-à-Galets.  In 2013, Simone Paulche Ministries, Inc. was founded and in September of 2015 the organization opened the Simone Paulche Ministries, Inc. Kindergarten School.

​At Kafe Ayiti, our mission is to break the cycle of poverty in Haiti through education.  Our sustainable cycle is to support the coffee industry in Haiti with fair & transparent trade; while using the profits we gain from selling Haitian coffee to fund education for the under-served in Haiti.
